Just a couple of months into 2026, we have entered roughly 2,000 new coins in NumisMaster. I took a deep dive into Liberia and discovered that over 800 missing coins from 2001 are now available on the website.

There have also been pricing updates for Canadian coins from 1800, with the 1900s and 2000s expected to be completed by the end of the month. Liechtenstein and Cameroon also received pricing updates to their precious metal coins. We are currently running a precious metals update, as silver has dropped a bit after reaching a high of over $115 an ounce at the end of January.

Gold appears to be trending now, going over $5,000 earlier in February, with the high probability of reaching $6,000 this year.

The 2026 Norse Mythology “Freyja” coins minted by Le Grand Mint for Equatorial Guinea feature the goddess of love and beauty, Freya, as a master warrior in a cat-drawn chariot, with her feathered cloak floating behind. This beautiful and highly detailed coin, designed by Carmen Testa, is 2,000 francs CFA, weighs 2 oz, and has an ultra-high relief. The coin is available in proof silver (KM# 178), dark ruthenium gilded proof (KM# 178a), and antique gold (KM# 178b).
