Honduras

The legacy of environmental activist and indigenous leader Berta Cáceres was chosen as the focus of the country’s new 200 lempiras. Colored in a light aqua, the obverse shows Cáceres’ portrait within an environmental setting and security features, while the reverse displays a Honduran town, Intibuca, which Cáceres served as a governor.
