Hawaii elongateds go on sale

The fourth series of elongated cents featuring Hawaiian Historic Lighthouses is now available for $8 postpaid.

The fourth series of elongated cents featuring Hawaiian Historic Lighthouses is now available for $8 postpaid.

Depicted are Pyramid Rock Light on Oahu, built in 1941; Palaoa Point Light on Lanai, 1934; Kukuihaele Light on the island of Hawaii, 1937, and Ka’ula Rock Lighthouse, Kauai, 1932.

The cents used for the elongateds are made of the old 95-percent copper alloy used before 1983.

Each four-piece elongated set comes with a brochure containing historical information about each lighthouse.
