The U.S. Mint’s Comic Art series continues with Wonder Woman, honoring her 1941 debut with bold new gold and silver designs.
The third edition in the Comic Art series features Wonder Woman. First introduced in 1941, the warrior and ambassador champion peace and justice. Available as a gold coin or silver medal, all three went on sale at the U.S. Mint on November 13.
On the obverse, Wonder Woman leaps across the coin with her shield and Lasso of Truth. The background features stripes from the American flag. On the reverse, she soars above the earth alongside three doves, symbolizing her commitment to peace, equality, and justice
