Curaçao and Sint Maarten

For its “World Under the Sea” series, the Central Bank of Curaçao and Sint Maarten has updated its Caribbean Guilder with colorful illustrations of native marine life. The vibrant images of fish and other ocean life are featured on landscape obverses, and for the first time in the series, vertically oriented reverses display illustrations of cultural landmarks.

United Arab Emirates

Fresh from winning “Best New Banknote” at the 2025 High Security Printing EMEA conference for the AED500, the Central Bank of the UAE has released a new AED100 into circulation. Made from polymer with updated security features, the new note is designed in shades of red and shows the Umm Al Quwain National Fort, the Port of Fujairah, and the Etihad Rail.

Namibia

The Bank of Namibia’s latest release is a polymer commemorative bank note featuring former Namibian president Dr. Hage G. Geingob (1941–2024). The N$60 note celebrates the politician’s life and legacy as an activist and leader by featuring images of the president and the phrase "This Beautiful House We Call Namibia" from his 2015 inaugural speech.

Belarus

To mark the 80th anniversary of the Soviet Union’s involvement in World War II, the National Bank of Belarus has issued a commemorative Br80 bank note. Among the images on the pink-colored note are the Courage Monument in the city of Brest on the obverse, a mother and child holding hands, the Minsk Gate, and an apple flower on the reverse.
