This report was gathered in mid-December, so we won’t have the end-of-the-year numbers until the next report, which is published in the first issue of February.
As the year winds down, there weren’t any major changes to this month’s Mint Statistics. Most numbers went up by just a little bit, maintaining the steady rise they experienced throughout the year after the initial release. The Morgan and Peace Silver Reverse Proof 2-Coin Set was added, with sales numbers that match the rest of the Morgan and Peace silver dollar sales this year.
We at Numismatic News are looking forward to the 2026 releases. Quite a few new coins will be entering circulation in celebration of the Nation’s Semiquincentennial, as well as commemoratives that will be for sale from the Mint.
