MintStatistics: Silver Eagles Soar

Silver soars with new Navy-privy and Batman coins, while gold stays steady.

In the last month, we have added the American Eagle silver proof with the Navy privy mark and the next edition in the Comic Art series, this time featuring Batman. A few coins also jumped quite a bit.

The 2025-S proof silver eagle, which had just been released in the last report, jumped from over 3,500 to nearly 110,000 in the last month.

With the addition of the Batman coin and medals, the Superman 1-ounce silver medal went from just under 15,000 to over Despite many collectors’ reservations about the series, the Comic Art coins and medals are doing fairly well. With the holidays coming fast, these may be a good gift option for a young collector or a young future collector in your life.

With gold prices on the rise, it is no surprise that there was little movement in sales figures for the gold coins throughout the report. The U.S. Mint didn’t have the report for any October Bullion Eagle sales yet, so for now, the updated September numbers have been placed.

Unless otherwise stated, all boxed figures are compiled October 14, 2025. Numbers provided by the U.S. Mint. Totals are cumulative from the beginning of sales unless marked otherwise.
