Mint Statistics: Mayflower Compact Quarter Shows Collector Excitement
Early sales figures reveal strong collector interest in several new U.S. Mint releases, including the Mayflower Compact quarter.

In the last month, there has been a sizable increase in sales of the 1-ounce Batman silver medal and the 2025 Morgan silver dollars.
Additionally, more 2026-dated coins have been added: the 2026 Native American dollar 100-coin roll and 25-coin roll. The first new 2026 quarter design has also been added. The Mayflower Compact quarter has some impressive initial numbers for the 100-coin bags and two-roll sets. The excitement for the Semiquincentennial coins is beginning to show.
As the new coins to celebrate the U.S.’s 250th Anniversary start to be rolled out, Numismatic News staff will be keeping an eye out for the market’s response.
2026 bullion sales for January have been included, with the Eagle and gold buffalo sales starting the year off strong.
Unless otherwise stated, all boxed figures are compiled on February 18, 2026. Numbers provided by the U.S. Mint. Totals are cumulative from the beginning of sales unless marked otherwise.
