The auction saw more than 100 bidders from Illinois, Iowa, Indiana and Wisconsin in attendance at the Midwest Center for Christian Living in Lasalle, Ill.

The auction house reports coins with exceptional eye appeal were commanding much higher prices. There were over 500 lots in the auction. Highlights included:

1796 Draped Bust quarter, ANACS F-12, $21,000.

1872 Seated quarter, PCGS Pr-64 $1,000.

1910 Barber quarter, PCGS Pr-65 $1,475.

1794 Half cent, NGC AU-50 $8,000.

1881 Morgan dollar, ANACS MS-65 DMPL $5,200.
