Feldman International Auction presents Vikramm Chand’s Silk Road Collection III

A numismatic journey along the ancient Euro-Asian trading routes.

Gupta Empire, Chandragupta II, c. 380-413, AV dinar, 8.07 g. (20 mm). Archer type.

Following the outstanding success of Parts I and II of the Silk Road Collection, Feldman International Auctions is proud to present the highly anticipated third chapter of this exceptional series. Additionally, we will present a complementary offering of world coins from various private collections.

In our June 2025 auction, the second installment of the Silk Road Collection saw remarkable results, with many lots exceeding estimates and generating international interest. This sale included outstanding examples of Kushan and Gupta gold coinage, central empires along the ancient trade corridor between East and West.

A group of rings on a modern necklace attributed to the “Mature Harrapan” period (2000-1500 BC), approximately 65 discs of varying diameters, approximately 31.97 g.

This autumn, we continue the Silk Road journey with Part III, featuring further rarities from Europe and Asia. The sale will highlight both numismatic artistry and the rich cross-cultural currents that defined the region’s economic history.

At the same time, our General Coin Sale will present carefully selected pieces spanning ancient, medieval, and modern periods, offering opportunities for both seasoned collectors and new enthusiasts.
