Coin of the Year Heads to Oklahoma
Join us at the ANA World’s Fair of Money to see which COTY 100 coin win top honors at the 2025 Coin of the Year awards.
Join us for the Coin of the Year (COTY) Ceremony scheduled for 11 a.m. on Aug. 21 at the American Numismatic Association’s World’s Fair of Money to be the first to know who won the 2025 awards for 2024-dated coins.
Both the show and the ceremony will be held at the Oklahoma City Convention Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
“We are excited to be partnering with the American Numismatic Association once again to celebrate the best of the best through our Coin of the Year program,” said Sophia Mattimiro, COTY coordinator. “The COTY 100 were all standout coins, but only one in each category could make it out on top. The team and I are looking forward to honoring them in conjunction with the World’s Fair of Money.”
The awards program is a competition to recognize outstanding coin design and innovation. From well over 500 coins, the nominating committee went through the arduous task of narrowing down the nominees to the COTY 100. The judges were then given the difficult task of voting on these top 100 to get our ten category winners.
The ceremony is open to everyone, so be sure to join us to be the first to know which coin will be crowned Coin of the Year!
The 2025 Coin of the Year program is sponsored by the World's Fair of Money and the Journal of East Asian Numismatics.
