The final coin in the Royal Canadian Mint’s series celebrating famous Starfleet vessels was released in April.
The 34 mm, 15.87 g, .9999 fine silver colored $10 pays homage to U.S.S. Enterprise NX-01. It is shown back-lit by a multicolored, glow-in-the-dark nebula.
As all Trekkies know, Enterprise NX-01 was the Earth’s first warp five starship. Under the commanded of Captain Jonathan Archer, it was the star of the series “Star Trek: Enterprise.”
As with the preceding two coins featuring U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D and U.S.S. Voyager, the mintage is 10,000.
