This vignetted sheet done in brown by American Bank Note features a compilation of images including ornate letters, decorative symbols, stylish females, an eagle, and an automobile seemingly dating to the first quarter of the 20th century.
Using the vignette of the classic car as a guide, the author estimates the date of this sheet to be around 1920.
The American Bank Note company specialized in various examples of engraving work, among other elements, but the author does not recall seeing another similiar printers’ sample.
