Sales began Dec. 8 for the fifth and final five-ounce silver collector coin in 2016.

Part of the America the Beautiful series, the uncirculated coin honors Fort Moultrie at the Fort Sumter National Monument in South Carolina. It is struck in Philadelphia and has a “P” mintmark.

The reverse features Sergeant William Jasper returning the regimental flag to the ramparts while under attack from a British ship, the Mint said.
