Will the Franklin D. Roosevelt presidential dollar coin sell out quickly?
Here are some answers sent from our e-newsletter readers to Editor Dave Harper.
They’ll sell better, but not likely sell out.

The question I have is, “Is that FDR’s likeness on the coin?” To me it looks nothing like the real FDR at all. What were the Mint folks seeing?
As usual the Mint seems quite lackadaisical about properly conveying human features and figures on coins. A lack of workmanship is now the norm, I guess.

I don’t understand why you would ask whether a Presidential dollar coin will sell out. It is not made of gold or silver. It is not part of the commemorative program. The American people do not like to use dollar coins. Some collectors might want them, but why they even care about this series is a mystery to me. The American people have it right. The coins aren’t worth making no matter who is on them.
Sell out quickly? You’ve got to be kidding.
