Slew of New Issues Rack Up Sales
If you have been tracking product releases from the U.S. Mint this month, you’ll have noticed quite a long list. Let’s take a look at what’s new.
The biggest seller since it hit the market March 2 is the 2023-W silver American Eagle 1-ounce proof coin. Its sales total is at 354,408. The 2023 Congratulations Set that contains the silver Eagle also became available March 2, with sales to date of 23,319. Also released was the platinum proof 1-ounce Eagle with a current sales total of 5,847.
You will see two new sections of dollar coins added to the next page: the Native American dollar featuring Maria Tallchief and the American Innovation dollar honoring the state of Ohio. Totals there are listed for 100-coin bags and 25-coin rolls in “P” and “D” for the Innovation dollar, and 25-coin rolls, 100-coin bags and 250-coin boxes in “P” and “D” for the Native American dollar. Additionally, the Bessie Coleman American Women quarter has been added with totals reflected for 100-coin bags in “P” and “D,” a 2-roll set in “P” and “D,” and a three-roll set in “P,” “D” and “S.”
A 2.5-ounce medal for the United States Army and a Presidential silver medal for James Buchanan are also new to the charts.
