The 2022 uncirculated silver American Eagle coin kicked off June releases from the U.S. Mint when it became available on the first day of the month. After five days of availability, its sales total reached 143,738.

The coin marks the beginning of a busy sales month for the Mint. An additional five products are scheduled to release in June: the American Innovation dollar proof set on June 7, bags and rolls of the American Women quarter honoring Wilma Mankiller on June 14, the 2022 uncirculated gold American Eagle on June 16, the 2022 proof set on June 23 and bags and rolls of the Kentucky American Innovation dollar on June 28.

Though the calendar has turned from May to June, sales are mostly quiet on the bullion front. The gold Buffalo coin is on the board with 2,500 sales for the month so far, but as of June 8 no numbers have been reported for gold or silver bullion American Eagles. It is likely we will see a better progress report next week.

A big seller this week is the 2022 proof set, which increased by 5,081 for a total of 256,925.

Stay tuned – the month of June promises to be a busy one!
