Another week, another quiet sales period. There are no new releases to add to the charts this week and, overall, sales figures are marching along at a steady pace.

As expected, the 2021 clad proof set is our top performer this week. It posted a nice increase to 237,782 in total sales, a 10,000-unit, or 4 percent, jump from last week.

The 2021 silver proof set is being released as this is being written. Watch for that initial sales total in the next issue. Following a sizeable bump in sales last week, the current report shows a lull in sales of the 1-ounce silver bullion American Eagles for the month of April. No change was reported from the previous total of 1,053,000. The only movement we see in bullion Eagles this time around is in the gold 1-ounce coin, which posted a healthy increase from 19,500 to 28,000 in April, bringing total 2021 sales to 395,500, year-to-date.

2021 proof gold, however, is another story. Here we see decreases in sales across the board. The one-ounce Eagle decreased by 44, 1/2-ounce by 28, 1/4-ounce by 15 and 1/10-ounce by a whopping 213.
