Last 2022 Mint Product Released
Well, we made it. We’ve reached the end of the U.S. Mint’s product schedule for the year 2022. The grand finale came on Nov. 14 when the 2022 American Innovation dollar reverse proof set hit the virtual shelves. After a full week of availability, sales of the new set reached 39,327.
Top performers since our last report two weeks ago are also 2022 sets. The clad proof set continues to dominate with an increase of a whopping 15,444, bringing its sales total to 397,687. Coming in at a distant second and third are the silver proof set with an increase of 4,755 and the uncirculated set with an increase of 4,366, respectively.
We finally get a first glimpse of November sales figures for bullion coins, though there isn’t a whole lot to report right off the bat. Gold Buffalo bullion is on the board for November with 4,500 in sales, bringing its year-to-date total to 410,000. Gold American Eagle bullion shows just 1-ounce sales, which are at 6,000 for the month and 846,000 for the year thus far. Silver bullion is coming in at a healthy 1,407,000, for a year-to-date total of 15,04,500.
