A new year, a fresh set of U.S. Mint products to come down the pipe. In this week’s charts you will find the first listings for 2021 product sales.
Appropriately, the first sales of the new year are for the 2021 Birth Set and the 2021 Happy Birthday Set. These products, packaged with the intention to give as a gift for someone who makes their debut in 2021 or is celebrating a birthday, have initial sales of 5,104 for the Birth Set and 6,193 for the Happy Birthday set after being released on Jan. 5.
Also added this week is the George H.W. and Barbara Bush 2020 Presidential dollar and First Spouse Medal Set. It has garnered a sales total of 7,737 since its issue back on Dec. 21. You will find it on this page in the First Spouse Coins section.
The real star, though, is the newly added 2020 reverse proof American Innovation dollar honoring Maryland. At 27,243 sold, it is our top-performing item this week. The total reflects sales since it was released on Dec. 30, the Mint’s final issue of 2020.
