Collectors jump into the 2010 coin pool

New 2010 coins are beginning to take their places on this page. Rolls of the 2010 Native American dollars have started off at roughly 20 percent of where the prior year’s left off. The Philly roll begins with 12,338 as compared to the 59,000 sold-out 2009. The Denver roll registered a similar number of sales at 12,505 and the 2009 total was 53,732.
Half dollar collectors have begun purchases of the 200-coin bags and two-roll sets. The bag total of 1,237 seems to lag a bit as it is compared to the 10,312 sold in 2009. The two-roll set has a stronger introductory sales number of 7,559 as compared to the final 2009 number of 39,459.
Proof 2009 Buffalo gold pieces saw sales rise by 612 to 45,501.
There was no change recorded by the bullion gold and silver American Eagles.
The 2008 uncirculated dollar set went off sale Jan. 28 at 98,896.
