AnnounceMints: Gold Proof American Eagles

American Eagle 2026 gold proof, in one-ounce, half-ounce, quarter-ounce, and one-tenth-ounce coins, became available individually and in a four-coin set on March 5. Each coin is made of 91.67 percent gold, 3 percent silver, and the balance copper and sports the W mint mark for West Point.

The obverse design is the refreshed version of Saint-Gaudens’ Liberty with flowing hair. She holds a torch in her right and an olive branch in her left. The reverse features a majestic portrayal of an eagle.
