On Nov. 14, the U.S. Mint will make available the American Innovation dollar reverse proof set. The four coins in the set display frosted backgrounds with mirror-like finishes, which is the opposite of a regular proof coin’s finish.

The American Innovation dollars were all released in 2022 and honor the following States’ innovations:

Rhode Island: Nathanael Herreshoff’s yacht, Reliance.

Vermont: Snowboarding

Kentucky: Bluegrass music

Tennessee: Rural electrification by the Tennessee Valley Authority.

The coins are produced at the San Francisco Mint. Each set is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

Cost is $28 per set. The mintage limit is capped at 50,000, and the product limit is also 50,000. There is no household order limit.
