Mint Rebounds with Basketball HOF Coins, Kennedys
It’s been a challenging couple of months for business everywhere, including the Mint, but it seems it is now making a comeback with new products scheduled for June and the Basketball Hall of Fame coins finally making their debut.
On June 1, the Mint will release 2020 Kennedy half dollar 200-coin bags and two-roll sets. The 200-coin bags contain uncirculated finished coins from the Denver and Philadelphia mints, while the two-roll sets contain 40 coins. The cost for the 200-coin bags is $147, and the two-roll sets cost $34.50.
Originally scheduled for an April release date, the Basketball Hall of Fame coins are hitting the marketplace on June 4. The Mint is pulling out all the stops with seven new products: the 2020 enhanced uncirculated clad half dollar Kids Set, a 2020 proof $5 gold coin, 2020 proof clad half dollar, proof silver dollar, uncirculated $5 gold, uncirculated clad half dollar and an uncirculated silver dollar.
Prices are as follows, respectively: $45, not available at time of writing, $39, $69, not available, $39, and $64.
