Stack’s Bowers to Lead Auctions at New PCGS Events
Stack’s Bowers Galleries Named Exclusive Official Auctioneer of the New PCGS Trade and Grade Showcase Conventions and New Submission Integration Program.
Costa Mesa, CA Stack’s Bowers Galleries is pleased to announce its collaboration with Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS) as the exclusive auctioneer for their series of Trade and Grade Showcase events, beginning in October 2025. More inclusive than the historically popular Members Only Shows, Trade and Grade conventions will be open to the public and not just PCGS Members.
Stack’s Bowers Galleries’ Trade and Grade official auctions expand upon the firm’s already robust auction schedule, ensuring the right timing and venue for each consignor. PCGS will add its marketing efforts to these auction events, ensuring maximum visibility for all consignments featured in each sale. In addition, every auction lot will be available for in-person viewing at the Trade and Grade events themselves, as well as at Stack’s Bowers Galleries’ California offices in the weeks leading up to each auction, providing nationwide promotion for consigned material.
Additionally, Stack’s Bowers Galleries and PCGS are proud to introduce the Submission Integration Program (SIP). This innovative program allows any coins and banknotes submitted for grading at a Trade and Grade show or Walk In Wednesday event to be seamlessly transferred to Stack’s Bowers Galleries for auction, a no-obligation direct purchase offer, and/or CMQ review (coins only)—all without additional steps for the customer. This innovative new program will provide collectors with convenient and efficient grade and sell opportunities. Furthermore, in one submission, coins can be graded by PCGS and evaluated by CMQ experts Greg Roberts and David Hall.
“We are thrilled to partner with PCGS on the new Trade and Grade Showcase events. These auctions represent an incredible opportunity for consignors to maximize exposure for their coins and, in turn, achieve top prices in the marketplace. With PCGS adding their marketing power and the excitement of in-person lot viewing at the conventions, consignors and buyers alike will benefit from this expanded platform,” commented Brian Kendrella, President of Stack’s Bowers Galleries. “We are also very excited about the new Submission Integration Program, which offers unmatched value and convenience to collectors,” he continued. “By streamlining grading submissions with PCGS and immediate options for auction or direct purchase through Stack’s Bowers Galleries, this program delivers an efficient and customer-focused experience that sets a new standard for the industry.”
Stephanie Sabin, President of PCGS, added, “PCGS is excited to launch the Trade and Grade Showcase conventions alongside Stack’s Bowers Galleries. By opening these events to the public, we’re creating an inclusive and dynamic marketplace where collectors and dealers can connect, trade, and experience numismatics at the highest level. The addition of the Submission Integration Program further enhances the value of these events, giving collectors a seamless way to grade, evaluate, and sell their coins all in one place. Together with Stack’s Bowers Galleries, we’re raising the bar for what collectors can expect from a coin show and auction experience.”
Right now, Stack’s Bowers Galleries is accepting consignments of United States coins for the inaugural October Trade and Grade Showcase auction through October 3, 2025, as well as for the upcoming December auction event. For more information, contact consign@stacksbowers.com.
