Poll Question: Are there any numismatic events you’re looking forward to in 2026? What are they?

I always look forward to the spring and fall PAN shows. I visit my favorite booths and vendors. Buy, sell, and learn from the people I talk with.

For me, the answer is the springtime show in Vienna, Va., because that will be the first time I have attended a show as a dealer.

I retired about a year ago and have been thinking of doing this for some time now. While I am proficient in grading most series, I do worry about buying fakes.

I am aware of some of the characteristics of coins like the 1916-D dime and 1937-D 3 keg buffalo nickel, and the 1856 flying eagle, but others, not so sure. I am going to concentrate on collector coins, raw and circulated.

It’s something I have thought about for years and am looking forward to it. Any suggestions from other dealers are most welcome.
