Will the new U.S. one-ounce palladium bullion coin be a big seller?
Here are some answers sent from our e-newsletter readers to Editor Dave Harper.
Yes, this will be a popular item with some collectors. Investors, may tend to drive prices higher, but not like before. I was at my first coin show yesterday, after returning to the states. It appears that prices remained relatively stable. This Is a good thing for long term for collectors, and their portfolios.

In my travels I have noticed a few more Palladium coins, and I attend most all the big shows. However, many coin dealers are reluctant to have too many on hand. It will slowly become more popular. But not an overnight sensation. I was told not to buy one since very few coin people are familiar with them. It is an industrial metal, and may be very difficult to sell at a later date. Remember, they are easy to buy...but more difficult to sell. So, my opinion, No not a smash hit. I will not buy one. Prefer to stick with gold and silver.
