At that rate it will take almost four months to double the present number. That would leave it at roughly half the number of 2011 sets sold as the autumn collecting season gets going in September.

The Mint sold six times the number of 2011 four-coin proof gold Eagle sets. That sounds good until you realize just six sets were sold compared to one last week. The running tally is 18,153.
