On the other hand, demand for the collector proof version of the 2013 silver American Eagle pushed total sales past 500,000 to reach 516,084, up by 38,827. Remember, this increase occurred in the shadow of the offer of the two-coin West Point silver Eagle set. Buyers once again taxed the Mint’s website capacity. They have taken 187,541 of these two-coin sets so far with a buying deadline of June 6.
