The most exciting sales figures this week were for proof sets. The 2018 clad proof set number rose by 5,159 to 243,540. The silver proof set rose by 4,316 and now stands at 176,752.
The 2018-W uncirculated collector version of the American Eagle jumped by 15,251. This took it well past the 100,000 round number to reach 110,713. It is 65,852 behind the 2017-W uncirculated piece, but this one is still being sold.
The World War I coin and medal sets continue their unprecedented weekly sales number subtractions. All fell. The Army set dropped by 150. The smallest loss was 22 for the Air Service medal.
