Lincoln commemorative dollar sales are up from last week. The proof is 43,076 higher and the uncirculated total increased by 14,450. Numbers on the 2009 UHR Saint-Gaudens $20 edged up slightly.
Sales of the two-roll sets of Formative Years Lincoln cents continue to advance. This week the rise was 5,179 to a total of 290,086. Despite collector complaints of the $8.95 price, the Mint seems to have no trouble selling the sets.
The Lincoln Coin and Chronicles Set arrives this week with a sellout number of 51,000. That’s 1,000 over the maximum allowed, but not to worry. That will be whittled back to the 50,000 by the time all credit card and other problems are worked through.
