The United States Mint released the third 2015 Coin and Chronicles set, this one featuring John F. Kennedy, on Sept. 16. While not an immediate sellout with 48,462 sets of a 50,000 mintage sold by Sept. 20, the new release seems to be boosting sales of the 2014 Franklin D. Roosevelt Coin and Chronicles set.

From Sept. 13 to Sept. 20, collectors ordered 1,138 Roosevelt sets for a total of 16,969 sets sold. The set has a 20,000 mintage limit and is priced at $57.95.

Another new presidential release is the Lyndon B. Johnson First Day Coin Cover which began sales on Sept. 17. The Mint reports 10,287 purchased by Sept. 20.

American Eagle gold bullion coin sales are in their second best month of sales for 2015 so far, in terms of both total coins sold and total ounces ordered. As of Sept. 23, Authorized Purchasers have ordered 88,500 one-ounce, 7,000 half-ounce, 16,000 quarter-ounce and 140,000 tenth-ounce gold Eagles for a total of 110,000 ounces of gold across 251,500 coins sold.
