Gold Buffalo passes 30,000
Gee, the proof one-ounce gold Buffalo couldn’t stand the spotlight shone on it last week. The rate of sales halved from 1,280 to 678, though it did pass the 30,000 mark to reach 30,595 overall.

Gee, the proof one-ounce gold Buffalo couldn’t stand the spotlight shone on it last week. The rate of sales halved from 1,280 to 678, though it did pass the 30,000 mark to reach 30,595 overall.
The new Buchanan First Spouse gold issue numbers have now reached roughly the same total sales as the Abigail Fillmore issue, with 780 more proofs taken this week by collectors and 492 more uncirculateds.
Sales of 2010 proof sets are beginning to lag. The crowd that wants to be first on the block to own them seems to be satisfied. Only 8,949 additional sets were vended, bringing the ongoing total to just under 300,000. The regular clad proof set notched sales of 27,670 to bring the overall total to 544,808.
Remember the Disabled Vet dollars? Well, nobody else seems to, sales of proofs were 799 and the uncirculated registered sales of 175.
Lincoln roll sets show a little more pep, rising by 1,287 to 147,566.
