Five Products Released in 10 Days
In just a 10-day period from Aug. 9 through Aug. 18, the U.S. Mint released a whopping five products for sale. So let’s dive in.
Kicking off the flurry of issues was the 2022-S 1-ounce silver American Eagle proof coin on Aug. 9. With the official total this week of 199,476, it’s safe to say it sold out of its 200,000-piece mintage quickly.
Less than a week later came the Presidential silver medal honoring Millard Fillmore on Aug. 15. Its initial sales are currently at 11,217.
The following day, we saw the next issue in the American Women quarters program, this time honoring Nina Otero-Warren. A combined sales total for Philadelphia and Denver Mint 100-coin bags comes in at 3,610, while the two-roll “P” and “D” sits at 5,642, and the “P,” “D” and “S” roll set totals 7,565.
August 16 was a double-release day, with the 1-ounce version of the silver Armed Forces medal honoring the U.S. Air Force was also issued. Its sales total thus far is 12,799.
And finally, Aug. 18 saw the 2022 American Liberty silver medal become available with first sales totaling 49,835. See chart below.
