Collectors Snap Up Morgan, Peace Dollars
It’s been some time since our last report on U.S. Mint product sales, so let’s take a look at what’s new. Current sales numbers run through Aug. 20.
The much-anticipated 2023 Morgan and Peace silver dollars were released on July 13 for the uncirculated version with no mintmark and Aug. 9 for the proof version with an “S” mintmark. The proof versions are still available for purchase on the Mint’s website, but the uncirculated are listed as currently unavailable. Each uncirculated option has a mintage limit of 175,000, and each proof option is capped at 400,000.

Continuing their series, the American Innovation dollar for Indiana and the American Women quarter for Jovita Idar are now available.
