The United States Mint opened sales for the 2015 America the Beautiful quarters silver proof set on Feb. 20 and buyers were excited. The Mint reported 46,681 sets were ordered by Feb. 22. This total is just shy of the clad version at 48,443 sold, which was released Feb. 3.
The 2015 Homestead 5-ounce silver bullion coin is also doing well. Purchasers ordered 5,300 coins from Feb. 18 to Feb. 25, bringing the sales total to 19,500. This places the coin within range of surpassing sales for the 2014 Arches and Great Sand Dunes 5-ounce bullion coins. Both had 22,000 coins sold.
The Eleanor Roosevelt First Spouse proof gold coin is listed as out of stock on the Mint’s website. Sales stand at 2,377 coins with a maximum mintage of 10,000.
The U.S. Marshals three coin proof set and the uncirculated $5 gold coin are back on sale. All other options are on back order.
