A “Kids Corner” hosted by Patty Finner, American Numismatic Association vice president, along with a Boy Scout Merit Badge Workshop and free coins for children were some highlights of the SoCal Coin, Currency and Jewelry Show held Dec. 17-19 at the Ontario, Calif., Convention Center.

More than 150 dealers were set up, and attendance rose to more than 800.

“It was a great show and very well run,” said Ken Frechman of Estate Coins. “I met a lot of very friendly collectors. The Ontario Convention Center is a beautiful facility to have a show at. I believe the SoCal show has a lot of potential to grow into a much larger event. Business at my table was very strong for both buying and selling, so I’m already looking forward to the June show.”
