Is it a wooden nickel or a “good for” token? A new issue from the Central Arkansas Coin Club might be both.
The piece is done in green, blue, red and brown and features the reverse of the 2009 Birthplace cent on obverse. It comes in standard wooden nickel size.
Reverse features club information, the president and his phone number. At the bottom is “Good for a Coffee or Soda.”
Examples can be purchased for $1 each or three for $2. Send orders with a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Tom Dodson, 6900 Skywood Road, Little Rock, AR 72207. While supplies last, orders will include a log cabin error cent.
