Wood has patriotic theme

A wooden nickel has been issued by the Great River Regional Coin Club for its 39th coin show, which will be held April 11 in St. Cloud, Minn.

Printed in green ink, the wooden nickel has a patriotic design that proclaims, “Support Our Troops,” on the reverse as well as, “The Price of Freedom is NOT Free!”

Examples are priced at 40 cents each, or five for $2. Orders should include a self-addressed, stamped legal-size envelope with enough postage to accommodate a padded insert.
