Want to be a Pawn star?
Here’s your chance to appear on cable TV with your rare coin or other historical item.
Numismatic Guaranty Corporation will host the casting team of the History Channel’s “Pawn Stars” TV show Jan. 9, 2015, at its booth at the Florida United Numismatists convention in Orlando.
Rick Harrison, the famous Pawn Star, will make a special appearance during the casting along NGC grading experts including NGC Chairman Mark Salzberg.
NGC says If you have a rare item that you want to sell or pawn, now could be your chance to have Rick, Corey or the Old Man assess your valuable items on the spot.
Interested people should be sure to bring the item with any accompanying paperwork or provenance. An item sheet, available on the NGC website, NGCcoin.com, must be completed and brought to the casting.

NGC says the casting team will not be able to offer any appraisals. They will only be evaluating items to see if they are appropriate to appear on the show. If you and your item qualify and are selected, you could meet the Harrisons and be on and episode of “Pawn Stars.”
