Exact attendance figures have yet to be tabulated, but organizers say more people attended the 2005 American Numismatic Association’s Las Vegas Coin Show than the 2004 version.
“Attendance was great,” said Ann Phan, event coordinator. “Every dealer left on a positive note. They were happy with where they were placed and with the attendance.”
The 2004 show attracted 6,500. Phan expects higher final figures for 2005.
“It was a great success,” said Chris Cipoletti, executive director of the ANA. “The energy was very positive and many people expressed their interest in having the ANA’s continued support for the Las Vegas Coin Show. We are thrilled to be participating and we look forward to the future of the Las Vegas show.”
