Vicky Bowser of Alexander, Ark., is offering the fifth philatelic numismatic cover in a series of Valentine’s Day covers.
The 2009 theme is “From my heart to yours.” It features an elongated coin that resembles the Romance, Ark., postmark. The cachet is “Happy Valentine’s Day.”
Every year the town of Romance issues a special postmark in conjunction with the holiday. The postmark is used for the two weeks leading up to Valentine’s Day, then destroyed.
The 2009 cover may be purchased for $5. Previous issues are available for $6. Shipping is $1, regardless of the number of items ordered.
The elongated coin can be purchased separately for $1 for one, or $2 for 3 plus a self-addressed, stamped envelope.
