Tyler $1, medal set now available

Sales of the John Tyler Presidential dollar and Julia Tyler First Spouse medal set began at noon EST on Aug. 28.

The set, offered for $8.95, consists of an uncirculated John Tyler Presidential dollar coin and a Julia Tyler bronze medal bearing the same likeness as the First Spouse gold coin created in her honor.

The coin and medal are mounted in a plastic card that features portraits of the Tylers. Issuance information is annotated on the back of the card.

Presidential dollar and First Spouse medal sets honoring James K. and Sarah Polk, as well as Zachary and Margaret Taylor, are scheduled for release later this year.
