The casting producer of ABC?s Wife Swap is actively searching for a family of numismatists for the show.
In each episode of the show, two wives from two different families exchange husbands, children and lives for two weeks to discover what it is like to live a different woman?s life.
?We often feature sports families on our show, but rarely have an opportunity to focus on more academic ways to spend family time together,? said Meghan McGinley, casting producer for the show. ?I would like to find a family that is most representative of the hobby.?
Families who appear on the show receive a generous honorarium. A finder?s fee is also available to anyone who refers a family who is cast on the show.
Families must meet the following criteria to be considered for the show:
- Families must have two parents (not necessarily married).
- The family must have at least one child between the ages of six and 17 living full time in the home.
- Families must live in the continential U.S.
- Due to security reasons, no member of the family can be a member of the military.
New episodes of the program will be taped throughout 2007. Wife Swap airs on ABC on Monday nights at 8 p.m.
