TNA set for 50th anniversary show

The Texas Numismatic Association’s Annual Convention and Coin Show is set for May 14-16 at the Amon G. Carter Jr. Exhibits Hall at the Will Rogers Memorial Center, located at 3401 W. Lancaster Ave. in Fort Worth, Texas.

A highlight of the convention will be auction sessions held by Spink Smythe at 6 p.m. on May 14 and 15. The consignment deadline for this sale was set for March 28. For more details, contact the firm at 3100 Monticello Ave., #925, Dallas, Texas 75205, or by phone at (972) 788-2100.

In celebration of the club’s 50th anniversary, a birthday cake will be cut at 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 15. Other events include educational seminars, exhibits, a silent book auction and TNA medal sales. Special youth auctions and Scout merit badge seminars are planned for May 15. Grading services and a supply store will also be available at the show.

A raffle of five U.S. gold coins donated by Heritage Rare Coin Galleries will be held with a “need not be present to win” drawing at 3 p.m. on May 16. Raffle tickets can be obtained by calling (817) 274-5971 and will also be available at the convention.

More than 200 dealer tables will await attendees. Twenty-four-hour security will be provided for the duration of the show.
