Realizing more than $1.2 million, Teletrade recorded the largest sale in the company’s 19-year history during its two-day auction in conjunction with the American Numismatic Association Coin, Stamp & Collectibles Show in Las Vegas.
Highlights and prices realized by the ANA Las Vegas show auction included an 1860-C $2.50 gold, graded MS-61 by Numismatic Guaranty Corp., that brought in $18,480 and the Price Collection 1908-S half dollar, graded MS-67 by Professional Coin Grading Service, that realized $14,560.
“The first day alone we had more than $735,000 in winning bids, shattering our previous record,” said Ian Russell, Teletrade president. “The two-day total was $1,244,081 for the 3,644 lots offered in the sale.
