Teletrade, an Internet auctioneer of certified coins and currency, announced the new Teletrade.com, launched Feb. 2.

The new website features a fresh look, easy navigation and increased focus on users’ needs, the firm says.

Featuring more than 500 color pictures and current pricing, this dynamic Field Guide to U.S. money is the most complete and compact guide on the market.

Teletrade has also made changes to the bidding structure, most notably, the installment of “No Hidden Reserves.” All bidding will now begin with the opening bid or one bid increment below the reserve to increase bidding transparency.

“Our customers have asked for these changes and we have listened,” said Corey Maita, VP of business development. “Teletrade will continue to add features and provide the tools our users are asking for.”

New features include:

• Improved image quality. Lot images are now three times the resolution of previous Teletrade images.
• New image viewer allows users to inspect every auction lot.
• “One-click” Track and Bid features.
• Improved search interface allows users to more easily search over 1.3 million past auction results.
