The Tokan and Medal Society will hold a general membership meeting and a banquet during the American Numismatic Association World’s Fair of Money in Philadelphia.
The meeting is slated for 1 p.m. Aug. 15 in Room 117 of the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
Featured speaker will be Ernie Nagy, incoming TAMS president. His topic will be “Satire of Hard Times Tokens.”
The banquet will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 15 at Maggiano’s Little Italy, 1201 Filbert St., Philadelphia.
Cost is $50 per person. Maximum attendance is 50 people.
During the event, the Mishler Cataloging Awards will be given, as well as the Schenkman and other Literary Awards.
