Silver Eagles jump over 1 million for June

The reduction in the number of silver blanks shipped to the Mint has not yet shown up in the sales numbers of the American Eagles. This week the total increased by 667,000 to 1,092,000. This compares to 1,516,000 for all of May.
Gold American Eagle totals took a few steps forward. The one-ounce coin increased by 4,000 coins and the half-ounce went on the board with
1,000 coins.
Platinum, too, made progress. Though the numbers are not large, there is more action in the columns than have shown up for weeks. The ounce and half ounce columns registered their first appearance this month and the quarter ounce numbers rose.
The weekly increase in the one-ounce gold Buffalo was 1,000 coins.
The John Quincy Adams First Day Cover made its appearance. The Sacagawea FDC was taken off to make room, but that was an historical number anyway.
