Coin Press No. 1 struck the first “CC” coin, a Seated Liberty dollar, on Feb. 11, 1870, and is still working.

Another show highlight will be a raffle. The prize is a framed one-of-a-kind treasure that includes a 2011 Nevada Day poster and button and three very rare Nevada Day medallions minted on the press, according to Bob Nylen, curator of history for the museum.

Admission charge to the show will be $8. Museum members and children under 17 are admitted free. Hours each day are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
